Aindrita Ray born 4 April, 1985 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. She is an Indian film actress, mainly appearing in Sandalwood, (Kannada film industry). She was born as the youngest daughter into a Bengali family in Udaipur, Rajasthan, where she spent her childhood, before moving to Mumbai. A. K. Ray, her father being a prosthodontist in the Indian Air Force and she along with her family moved from one place to another at last finally they settling in Bangalore. Her mother named Sunita Ray who is a child psychologist and while her elder sister works for a multinational company. She made her acting debut in 2007 starring in Meravanige and went on to appear in several commercially successful films and also establishing herself as a leading contemporary actress of Kannada cinema. She is perhaps best known for her critically acclaimed performance as Devika and a mentally challenged girl, in Manasaare.
