Brendon McCullum is a former New Zealand international cricketer. He was the Captain of New Zealand before his retirement. He is one of the hardest hitters in world cricket. He is one of the best wicket keeper batsman of all time. He is the highest run scorer in international Twenty20.
Brendon McCullum was born on 27 September 1981, in Otago, New Zealand. He was born to Stuart McCullum. Stuart McCullum himself was a first class cricketer for Otago. His older brother Nathan McCullum also played for New Zealand in International Cricket.
Brendon McCullum made his debut in 2003. He played in a Test series against England. He scored what was then his highest score, an innings of 96 at Lord’s. His maiden Test century came several months later when he scored 143 against Bangladesh. His highest score in Test cricket is 302. He is the first Kiwi cricketer to score a triple century. His ODI highest score is 166. He is the only player to score 2 T20 international centuries. He has played domestic T20 for Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Sussex, Middlesex and Brisbane Heat. In 2016 after the series win against Australia he retired from international Cricket.
Brendon McCullum is an aggressive top order batsman. He played most of his career as a Wicket Keeper batsmen. He is known to be a terrific fielder and a great athlete.
