Starbucks introduce mini Rosca de Reyes
Three Kings Day, also known as Epiphany, marks the day in the Christian religion that the Three Wise Men visited the baby Jesus and is usually celebrated by gifting children presents and eating Rosca de Reyes.
Throughout the holiday period, Starbucks introduced unique beverages and treats that reflect the diverse palates of their customers globally.
Starbucks Stories describes Rosca De Reyes Marmoleada as Starbucks’ version of the traditional Mexican pastry.
The original dish is typically a fairly large bread crown decorated with sugary powder and multicoloured candied fruits and figs with a small plastic toy that represents baby Jesus inside one of the slices of the bread.
However, the mini Starbucks version is a single portion of sweet and soft pastry covered with sugar, cocoa and fig fruit with a small figure representing Jesus hidden inside.
As shown on @starbucksmex Instagram, these treats were added to Mexican menus around 28 December 2021.
Can you buy the Mexican treat after Three Kings Day 2022?
Starbucks added the Rosca De Reyes Marmoleada to their Mexican menus as a limited-edition holiday treat in celebration of Three Kings Day, which took place on 6 January 2022.
Although it is yet to be officially confirmed online as to whether or not the product is now discontinued, Rosca De Reyes is no longer displayed on the Starbucks Mexico bakery menu.
This, therefore, suggests that the King’s Cake is not available after 6 January.

Aside from the positive feedback, some customers supposedly don’t agree with the American multinational chain corporation selling their own version of a traditional Mexican dish.
Something about Starbucks selling Rosca de Reyes. 😑
