Pia Mia Perez, known professionally as Pia Mia, is an American singer, songwriter and model from Guam. Pia Mia started by posting videos of herself singing on video sharing site YouTube, later going on to star in commercials and music videos. She has earned a large YouTube and social media following for her covers and original compositions.

She was born on September 19, 1996 in Guam, United States. In 2007, Pia Mia started her career by posting her singing videos on YouTube and earn popularity by posting video’s. Pia Mia released her debut single “Red Love” from the Extended Play “The Gift” in 2013. The song was uploaded to her YouTube Vevo account on December 9, 2013.

At the age of 17, she formed Wolfpack Entertainment, a recording label, signing herself as its first artist, and then signed with Interscope Records. Throughout 2014, the singer/songwriter undeniably left her footprint on the music scene. Billboard Magazine named Pia Mia one of eight “acts who will help define 2014.”

Pia Mia had appeared on KARtv in three episodes from 2011 to 2012 as herself (Pia Mia).
